Questions Worth Asking Before You Decide
Start with what the quoted figure actually covers. Ask for the list: coffin, hall, vehicles, the agent's time, paperwork. Our basic package is 850 GEL. The full package is quoted individually, because what goes into it depends on what the family wants.
Then ask who your named contact will be and how quickly a vehicle can reach you. Ask what travel outside the city costs: with us it is from 150 GEL in town and from 2.5 GEL per kilometre nationwide. And ask how cremation is priced, if that is your choice.

What should I ask on the first phone call?
Three things: how soon a vehicle can be with you, exactly what the quoted sum includes, and who your named agent will be. We answer all three on that first call, so nothing has to be clarified afterwards.
How do I compare quotes fairly?
Compare the same contents, not just the headline number. Ask each company to itemise: coffin, hall, hearse, flowers. Ours reads, for example, Mercedes-Benz hearse from 150 GEL and a Maybach at 1500 GEL, so you can see where the money goes.
If we choose cremation, what should we check?
Ask who carries out the procedure, which documents are needed, and how and when the urn is returned to the family. Cremation with us is costed separately, by arrangement, since every case differs. Call and we will go through yours.
